In Pursuit
An unconventional in-store performance in an unconventional suit shop. Launching February 2017, the In Pursuit concert series for Columbus, Ohio, boutique suit shop Pursuit spotlighted local artists — from rapper Dom Deshawn to Cleveland’s electro-soul Marcus Alan Ward to the rising duo CAAMP — in the shop each month. The monthly event not only highlighted top notch talent, but provided a unique content + experiential approach for Pursuit.
Problem:
Pursuit had recently relocated its original store to a new location in an arts and culture focused neighborhood and was having difficulty connecting with new customers in this space and as a result was not meeting the goals for growth they had set.
Solution:
We saw an opportunity to position Pursuit as an arts advocate by partnering with rising local artists and musicians to generate lifestyle/culture focused photography, brand experiences in which the artists were decked out in Pursuit attire while performing in the front window, and produced ongoing video content to serve as a content series supporting the shop and the arts connection.
Result:
Pursuit has since been on a consistent growth trajectory, including opening a second location in a new city, and has been able to partner with the likes on Bon Iver due to its positioning within the arts through our custom built solution.
